Bone Builders

Bone Builders is a FREE exercise program that strives to work against the negative effects of osteoporosis. By doing some simple weight training individuals can protect themselves from osteoporosis related fractures by increasing muscle strength and bone density. Benefits of the program are improved balance, increased energy and mobility and increased bone density.

Easy to learn regardless of age, pickleball places an emphasis on coordination, control, patience and strategy rather than strength or speed. This game can also be a valuable development aid in hand-eye coordination, exercise and gross motor skill training making it a great sport for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. For three free lesson, stop by the park office located at 601 26th Ave E and ask for a lessons punch card. The fee to play is $2/day, and punch cards are available at the park office.

Senior Steppers

Want to have a climate controlled place to walk? Join Senior Steppers, a program that focuses on walking at the Rustad Recreation Center track. Sign-up to be entered in monthly prizes based on your distance walked during the program. This is a great social program to meet other seniors.

Senior Picnic

The West Fargo Park District will sponsor a Senior Picnic for West Fargo residents ages 60+ on January 18 from 12:00-2:00pm at the West Fargo VFW. Enjoy live music while lunch is served. After lunch, join us for a fun game of Bingo! Reserve your spot today by calling 433-5360 starting December 11.
