Frostival 2021: West Fargo

Frostival West Fargo offers activities for all ages and it is a wonderful way to get out and beat those winter blues. Some of the highlights include the Silver Snowflake Search, Movie on Ice, Coloring Contest, Volleyball Tournament and many fun activities.

SILVER SNOWFLAKE SEARCH – January 17-23

Hunt for the Frostival Silver Snowflakes in West Fargo for a chance to win one of four extravagant prize packages! This annual scavenger hunt is the perfect outdoor activity for the whole family and allows you to see all the amazing West Fargo parks!

All four Silver Snowflakes are hidden in public locations, above ground, and within the city of West Fargo. The first clue will be posted on January 17, and then watch for additional clues daily until January 23. Rules and clues will be posted on wfparks.org and at Rustad Recreation Center by 9:00am daily.

COLORING CONTEST – January 15-23

Embrace the season by coloring a winter-themed coloring page! All participants will be entered to win a sled.

Coloring pages will be available for pick-up at the Rustad Recreation Center beginning on Saturday, January 15th. On that date, a link will also be posted in this event and on wfparks.org if you’d like to print yours off at home!

Coloring Contest Rules
Entries for the West Fargo Park District’s 2022 Frostival Coloring Contest will be accepted at the Rustad Recreation Center (601 26th Ave E, West Fargo) from Saturday, January 15-Sunday, January 23. This contest is valid for children age 12 and under. Only one entry per child will be accepted. Five winners will be picked at random to win prizes! Winners of the coloring contest will be contacted after the contest and announced on the West Fargo Park District’s Facebook by January 22. Please include child’s first name and last initial when uploading a picture.

FROSTIVAL INDOOR VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT – January 15 & 16

Join us for 2nd Annual Frostival WF Volleyball Tournament hosted by the West Fargo Park District & sponsored by Spicy Pie Pizza!

Coed teams will play on Saturday and Women’s teams will play on Sunday. There will be A, B, C & D Divisions. Divisions can be combined depending on registration numbers. Depending on how many teams register for each division will determine if certain divisions will play in the morning or early afternoon.

Schedules will be posted and emailed by the week of the January 10th.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULES

SENIOR LUNCHEON – January 22

On Thursday, January 20th from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, West Fargo Residents ages 60+ can enjoy a FREE lunch served at the Rustad Recreation Center! After lunch, join us for a fun game of BINGO!

MOVIE ON ICE AT THE LIGHTS – January 16

Bundle up and join us at The Lights for ice skating and a family-friendly movie! We will be showing the animated movie, Smallfoot on the big screen!

Free hot cocoa and cookies will be available while supplies last.

$5.00 Skate Rentals are available in the warming house.
