PEOPLE + PARKS = COMMUNITY
The West Fargo Parks Foundation is dedicated to supporting the Park District in the development and enhancement of parks and facilities, as well as to assist in providing recreation opportunities for the residents for present and future generations.
- Appeal to donors and assist in raising funds and receiving property.
- Develop and enhance Park District programming for all people, regardless of age, abilities or financial status.
- Assist in fundraising efforts for capital improvement projects for parks and facilities that will benefit the entire community.
The West Fargo Parks and Recreation Foundation was founded as a non-profit partner for the West Fargo Park District and fueled by the energy of civic leaders whose efforts are directed toward the betterment of the community of West Fargo. The purpose of the Foundation is not a replacement of tax based services but to use funding to fill the gaps that municipal funding may not provide.
