Participants will be introduced to the basic fundamentals of soccer through drills and games. All participants need a size 3 soccer ball. Shin guards and soccer shoes are recommended, but not required. All participants must have a jersey for this program. This is not included in the registration fee, so please be sure to add a jersey unless you are using one from last year. Jerseys will be handed out by the first game. Team schedules will be emailed and posted by June 26. Individual and team pictures will be taken by a professional photographer; times and location will be posted at wfparks.org. Check the Information Line at 701-551-7138 for weather related announcements. Volunteer parent coaches are needed. We would not be able to offer this program without your help. Please indicate on registration form if you are interested in helping coach your child’s team.
SOCCER FOR BEGINNERS
Looking to have fun and build on your child’s soccer skills. This introductory camp works on skills and fundamentals of soccer. All dates will be held inside on the Rustad Recreation Turf. Each child will receive a shirt, please indicate on the registration form the size needed.
WINTER INDOOR SOCCER
This indoor soccer league will be featured on our turf at the Rustad Recreation Center for girls and boys K-3rd grade and is offered during the winter months. Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of soccer through drills and games. Participants will be placed on a team and play on the same team throughout the season. All participants need a size 3 soccer ball and Park District jersey for this program. This is NOT included in the registration fee. Jerseys will be handed out the first day of the program.
