The West Fargo Park District’s Mission is to provide opportunities for its citizens to enjoy their leisure time in our public programs, facilities, and parks that:

Item Request Form
To place a proposed item on the West Fargo Park Board agenda and appear before the Board, the following form must be completed and submitted to the West Fargo Park District administrative office by Wednesday (10:00 a.m.) one week prior to the Park Board meeting. The growth of West Fargo is an exciting challenge. Park Board Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at the Rustad Recreation Center, 601 26th Avenue East, West Fargo, ND.
The West Fargo Park District is pleased to announce the availability of the “Matching Funds” program again for 2018 with $15,000 available for the 50/50 matching funds program. The initial application deadline is set for March 5, 2018. After this date, applications will be reviewed and submitted with recommendation to the West Fargo Park Board for final approval and award March 14, 2018.
To be eligible, all submitted requests for funds must involve projects which are on West Fargo Park District property. All projects considered must be accessible to public use Requests for annual program operation funding is not eligible. Any person who violates or fails to comply with any provisions of these ordinances shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $500.
Glass Containers – Prohibition – It is unlawful to bring or carry glass containers on to any park property.
Alcoholic Beverages – Prohibition – No person shall bring alcoholic beverages into or use alcoholic beverages on property of WFPD without a permit. Permits for alcoholic beverages may be obtained for a fee from the West Fargo Park District Office.
Special Event Liquor License – Any sale of alcohol within the City of West Fargo requires a Special Event Liquor License. Please contact City Hall at 701-433-5300 for additional information.
Collection of Animal Solid Waste on Public Property – Every person having custody or control of a dog or cat shall be equipped to, and collect said animal’s solid waste when eliminated on property owned by the city of West Fargo, the Park District and the School District. Any person who wishes to make a complaint regarding violations of this section must appear before the Judge of the Municipal Court and sign a complaint.
Nuisances on Park Property – No owner, occupant, or user of property abutting Park District property of the West Fargo Park District shall cause or allow water from down spout, sump pump or similar device to be directly or indirectly deposited on Park District property. No person shall deposit snow, earth, construction material, or other substance on Park District property.
