May 20th

Garden Extravaganza
Location: Elmwood Park, 500 13th Ave W
Time: 6:30-8:00pm

Fee:  Free event

Don’t miss the fun and entertaining presentation by the “Bug Man” at 7:00 pm. Kids can take part in garden activities with Camp Fire USA and make and enjoy dirt dessert. Kroshus Landscaping and area experts will give tips on landscaping, new plant varieties and container gardening. Bring plants to exchange with each other.

June 10th

Wild West Jamboree
Location: Veterans Memorial Arena
Time: 5:30-8:00pm

Fee:  Free event

Enjoy a Rootin’ Tootin’ good time of activities including a fiddler’s jam session, free carriage rides provided by the Red River Harness Club, square dancers, chuckwagon photos, gunny sack races, and steer roping demonstrations. A free cowboy dinner of hotdogs, baked beans and pop will be served while supplies last. Bring your own camera to take photos at the chuckwagon.

Big Screen Movie to Follow

Bring your lawn chair and blanket to watch a free movie on the big screen held in the Vets Arena at 7:30 pm.

July 22nd

Family Fun Night
Location: Armour Park
Time: 6:00-8:00pm

Fee:  Free event

Festivities will include Magician Jeffrey Salveson, Penny and Pals, inflatable bounce and slide, kiddie run and relay races, Red River Zoo animals, face painting and balloon tying for kids. Free hot dogs and pop will be served while supplies last. Sno-cones will also be available for a minimal charge.  

July 17th and August 21st
Big Screen Movies Nights

Enjoy a big screen movie favorite under the stars this summer at Armour Park in West Fargo.  Movies nights will be July 17^th and August 21^st at approximate 9:30pm or dusk, wind and weather permitting. Please bring your blanket or lawn chair. Concessions will be available for a minimal charge. This is a FREE event. Movies will be announced soon!                                                             

July 23rd
West Fargo Parks Water Carnival
Location: Veterans Memorial Pool
Time: 2:00-4:00pm
Fee:  Free event

Enjoy an afternoon of water games and  fun! This free event is for youth 12 and under. Free sno-cones will be served. 

Farmers' Market & Beyond
Fresh produce, berries, herbs, flowers, hand-crafted items and agriculture products will be available for purchase at the West Fargo Park District’s Farmers' Market & Beyond beginning on July 10th to September.

The Farmer’s Market & Beyond will be held each Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the South Elmwood parking lot, 500 13th Ave W.  The Park District is also seeking area vendors to sell produce, hand-crafted items and agriculture products.  Anyone who is interested in reserving a space should contact the West Fargo Park District for rules and registration.
